📖 How to play

• 🎯10 questions from the history of the Faculty of Arts — deans, departments and institutes, personalities and milestones from the College (1667) to today. The questions get progressively harder.
• 🎓Every correct answer = a step up the academic ladder: enrolment → credit → exam → Bc. → Mgr. → PhDr. → PhD. → Assoc. prof. → Professor → Dr. h. c.
• 🏁A wrong answer or running out of time ends the game — but the title you have climbed to is yours to keep, and it goes into the Hall of Fame.
• ⏱You have 30 seconds per question.
• ⚔️Duel for two: you take turns question by question, each with your own ladder, jokers and questions (none repeats within a game). A wrong answer knocks you out — you keep your title and your opponent plays on. More correct answers wins; on a tie fewer jokers, then the faster time. Duels have their own leaderboard.
• 🃏Four jokers, each once per game: ½ crosses out two wrong answers, 🏛 department board shows a colleagues’ vote, ⇄ swap brings a different question, ❤️ second chance — once activated, your first wrong answer won’t knock you out and you keep trying (until it is used up). Every joker you spend counts — a game without help ranks higher.
• 🏆The Hall of Fame records the title you reached, the jokers you spent and your time. On equal titles the player who used fewer jokers wins; if still tied, the faster time decides. The leaderboard is shared by the whole room.
• 📚After each answer you learn a curiosity from the Faculty’s history — and for many questions the 📖 More button opens the full profile of a personality or the story of a milestone.
• 🗃The database holds over 100 questions in four difficulty levels — every game is different and questions don’t repeat across games.
• 🔎The questions draw primarily on the book Osobnosti Filozofickej fakulty v Prešove (Personalities of the Faculty of Arts in Prešov, 2013, ed. M. Ološtiak), supplemented from the university and faculty websites (unipo.sk, the Na pulze magazine) and other public sources.
